TEACHING ASSISTANT – FIXED TERM – DARTFORD

Forward Teaching are excited to be working with a fantastic primary school in Dartford who’s vision is simple yet powerful: every child deserves a champion. They are looking to appoint a KS1 Teaching Assistant to start ASAP who has the ability to inspire, motivate and challenge pupils through quality support and creative learning experiences.

 WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• Experienced and/or qualified in EYFS/KS1
• Passionate about helping children achieve their full potential
• A solid understanding of how children learn and develop
• Adaptable, proactive, and able to respond to diverse learning needs
• Calm, caring and confident in managing behaviour supportively
• A true team player who brings warmth and energy to the classroom
• Strong literacy, numeracy and IT skills
• The ability to build trusting relationships with children and staff

YOUR ROLE

As a Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Supporting class teacher by preparing learning materials
• Setting up classrooms
• Supervising pupils in group or one to one activities
• Motivate, inspire, and encourage pupils to achieve their best
• Support pupils’ learning, wellbeing, and behaviour in a positive way
• Provide feedback and reports as needed

• Fixed Term contract until August 2026

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Clear Enhanced DBS
• In-person role (Dartford)
