Primary Supply Teaching in Bexley

As a KS1 or KS2 Supply Teacher, you will provide high-quality classroom cover in the absence of the regular class teacher, helping to maintain continuity, engagement and a positive learning environment for pupils.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Delivering pre-planned lessons across KS1 and/or KS2
• Following the National Curriculum and individual school expectations
• Creating a positive, inclusive and well-managed classroom environment
• Engaging, motivating and encouraging pupils to achieve their best
• Managing behaviour confidently and positively
• Adapting your teaching to meet different abilities and learning needs
• Supporting pupils with SEND where required
• Following school safeguarding and behaviour policies
• Recording attendance and providing feedback to relevant school staff
• Building positive relationships with pupils, colleagues and the wider school community

What We’re Looking For

We are looking for teachers who are confident, adaptable and passionate about giving children a positive learning experience.

You will ideally have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• A relevant degree or equivalent qualification
• Experience teaching within a primary school setting
• A good working knowledge of the KS1 and/or KS2 National Curriculum
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Confidence adapting quickly to different school environments
• An inclusive approach to teaching and learning
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• A professional, reliable and flexible approach
• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to complete the required checks
