KS1 & KS2 Supply Teacher – Bexley

Forward Teaching are excited to be working with a fantastic primary school in Bexley who are looking for enthusiastic KS1 & KS2 Supply Teachers to join their team.

What We’re Looking For

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

• A degree (subject specialism desirable)

• Clear Enhanced DBS

• Strong literacy and numeracy skills (GCSE English & Maths grade C/4 or above)

• Great communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team

• Flexibility, reliability, and initiative

• A genuine passion for teaching and supporting children

• A good knowledge of the national curriculum

Your Role

As a KS1 & KS2 Supply Teacher, you will:

• Deliver lessons and manage the class in the teacher’s absence

• Follow lesson plans and set homework as required

• Motivate, inspire, and encourage pupils to achieve their best

• Support pupils’ learning, wellbeing, and behaviour in a positive way

• Adapt your teaching style to meet the needs of all learners, including those with SEND

• Record attendance and keep simple records of progress and behaviour

• Provide feedback and reports as needed

Experience Required

• At least 1 year’s teaching experience (KS1 or KS2 preferred)

Additional Requirements

• QTS & a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent)

• In-person role (Bexley)
