The Role

Depending on the school and assignment, your responsibilities may include:

• Supporting pupils with special educational needs, including autism, ADHD and additional learning needs.
• Providing individual and small-group learning support.
• Helping children develop confidence, independence and communication skills.
• Supporting teachers with classroom activities and learning resources.
• Encouraging positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing.
• Creating a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment.

What We’re Looking For

We’d particularly like to hear from candidates who have:

• Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant, SEN TA or Learning Support Assistant.
• Experience supporting children with additional learning needs.
• A patient, caring and adaptable approach.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• A genuine interest in helping children achieve their potential.
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting children’s welfare.

Applicants must be willing to complete the necessary safeguarding and recruitment checks, including an Enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references.
