Opportunities may include day-to-day supply, PPA cover, planned absence, short-term teaching and longer-term roles across KS1 and KS2.

The Role

Depending on the school and individual assignment, your responsibilities could include:

• Teaching across KS1 or KS2
• Delivering engaging lessons in line with the primary curriculum
• Providing PPA and planned classroom cover
• Following existing lesson plans for short-term assignments
• Creating a positive and purposeful classroom environment
• Maintaining clear expectations and effective behaviour management
• Adapting learning for pupils with different abilities and additional needs
• Supporting pupils with SEND within the classroom
• Working effectively with Teaching Assistants and support staff
• Providing appropriate feedback to school staff at the end of an assignment
• Taking responsibility for planning and assessment where required for longer-term roles

The Ideal Candidate

We’d particularly like to hear from teachers who:

• Hold UK QTS or an appropriate recognised teaching qualification
• Have experience teaching within primary education
• Are confident working across KS1, KS2 or a preferred primary phase
• Have strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Can quickly build positive relationships with pupils
• Are adaptable and comfortable joining different school environments
• Understand safeguarding responsibilities
• Are reliable, professional and communicative

ECTs are also encouraged to get in touch where suitable opportunities match their experience and requirements.
