About the Role

As a Primary Supply Teacher, your responsibilities may include:

• Delivering engaging lessons across EYFS, KS1 or KS2.
• Following lesson plans and established classroom routines.
• Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Maintaining effective classroom and behaviour management.
• Supporting pupils with different abilities and learning needs.
• Working collaboratively with Teaching Assistants and school staff.
• Providing feedback on pupil learning and progress where appropriate.
• Following school safeguarding policies and procedures.

Responsibilities will vary depending on the school and individual assignment.

Day-to-day supply may involve delivering pre-planned lessons, while longer-term assignments may include additional planning, assessment and teaching responsibilities.

What We’re Looking For

We’re particularly interested in teachers who have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience teaching within UK primary schools.
• Good knowledge of the primary curriculum.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Confidence adapting to different classrooms and year groups.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• A flexible, reliable and professional approach.
• A genuine commitment to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing.
