PART TIME YEAR 1 TEACHER – DARTFORD
Forward Teaching are excited to be working with a fantastic primary school in Dartford who are looking to appoint someone who has the ability to inspire, motivate and challenge pupils through quality teaching and creative learning experiences. What we’re looking for
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience Teaching KS1
- Clear Enhanced DBS
- Strong literacy and numeracy skills (GCSE English & Maths grade C/4 or above)
- Great communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team
- Flexibility, reliability, and initiative
- A genuine passion for teaching and supporting children
- A good knowledge of the national curriculum
Your Role
As a KS1 Teacher, you will:
- Planning and delivering lessons.
- Managing the classroom
- Motivate, inspire, and encourage pupils to achieve their best
- Support pupils’ learning, wellbeing, and behaviour in a positive way
- Adapt your teaching style to meet the needs of all learners, including those with SEND
- Record attendance and keep simple records of progress and behaviour
- Provide feedback and reports as needed

Experience Required
- At least 1 year’s teaching experience (Primary preferred)
Additional Requirements
- QTS & a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent)
- In-person role (Dartford)
