FORWARD TEACHING are seeking a KS2 Teacher for our client based in Swanscombe.

This excellent school prides themselves on their endless support that they provide within their school. They teach their pupils skills such as communication, creativity and resilience throughout their education. They are looking for an experienced KS2 teacher to join their team in September.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Clear Enhanced DBS
• QTS
• Excellent communication and organisation skills
• Excellent parent liaison skills
• Excellent literacy and numeracy skills
• A passion to teach KS2 children
• Able to follow the national curriculum

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Plan and prepare a lesson.
• Create a positive and up-lifting classroom environment.
• Plan and deliver lessons, following the subject curriculum.
• Supervising and adjusting activities to fit each individual student’s needs.
• Providing extra assistance to children with special needs.
• Communicate with parents/carers about the children’s progression.
• Provide ongoing support for behaviour management.
• Set and mark work and homework.
• Attend staff meetings, assemblies and parents evening when required.

JOB TYPE:

SALARY:

• £34,514.00-£46,001.00 per year

SCHEDULE:

• Monday to Friday
• September start
• Full time

EXPERIENCE:

• Teaching within a primary school for at least 1 year

LICENCE/CERTIFICATION:

• QTS
• A degree within education

WORK LOCATION:

• In-person
