KS2 CLASS TEACHER – FIXED TERM MATERNITY COVER
SOUTH EAST LONDON
Forward Teaching are excited to be working with a fantastic two form entry primary school in South East London with an ‘Enhanced Learning Provision’ in the heart of a vibrant community. More importantly, they have amazing children and a large team of staff who work hard to ensure that everyone learns to succeed.
Our client are dedicated to providing an inspiring and inclusive curriculum. They will nurture and challenge their pupils to dream big and become valuable global citizens – beyond the walls of their learning environment.
They are looking to recruit an inspirational and enthusiastic class teacher to join their KS2 team from 1st December 2025.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
• Qualified Teacher Status
• Experience teaching KS2
• Clear enhanced DBS
• Strong literacy and numeracy skills (GCSE English & Maths grade C/4 or above)
• Great communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team
• Flexibility, reliability and initiative
• A genuine passion for teaching and supporting children
• A good knowledge of the national curriculum

YOUR ROLE
As a KS2 Teacher, you will:
• Plan and deliver lessons
• Managing the classroom
• Motivate, inspire, and encourage pupils to achieve their best
• Support pupils’ learning, wellbeing, and behaviour in a positive way
• Adapt your teaching style to meet the needs of all learners, including those with SEND
• Record attendance and keep simple records of progress and behaviour
• Provide feedback and reports as needed

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
• At least 1 years teaching experience (Primary preferred)
• QTS & a bachelors degree (or equivalent)
• In-person role (Norwood, SE London)
