Design Technology Teacher

JOB DESCRIPTION

FORWARD TEACHING are seeking a Design Technology Teacher for our client based in Greenwich.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Clear Enhanced DBS
• QTS
• Excellent communication and organisation skills
• Excellent parent liaison skills
• Commitment to ongoing professional development
• Bachelor’s degree in design technology, Engineering, Industrial Design or a related field.
• Able to follow the national curriculum

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Plan and prepare a lessons
• Create a positive and up-lifting classroom environment.
• Plan and deliver lessons, following the subject curriculum.
• Supervising and adjusting activities to fit each individual student’s needs.
• Providing extra assistance to children with special needs.
• Communicate with parents/carers about the children’s progression.
• Provide ongoing support for behaviour management.
• Set and mark work and homework.
• Attend staff meetings, assemblies and parents evening when required.

JOB TYPE:

SALARY:

• £31,000.00-£44,329.00

SCHEDULE:

• Monday to Friday

EXPERIENCE:

• At least one year teaching in a Secondary School
• Teaching KS4 (Preferred)

LICENCE/CERTIFICATION:

• QTS

WORK LOCATION:

• In-person
